Building A Future of Hope

Holy Family was one of the first parishes in the Archdiocese to join the capital campaign shared between parishes and the Archdiocese. We continue to center the campaign in prayer -- parishioners are praying each day for the mission of our parish and Archdiocese as bearers of the Gospel; in participation -- parishioners are giving of their time and efforts in increasing numbers; in contributing -- we continue to receive new pledges and gifts each week.

The Archdiocesan case can be found on their website, www.archlou.org. Holy Family's case statement of current needs includes reducing the indebtedness for our new church building, upgrading our HVAC needs for Holy Family School, possible expansion of our Child Development Center, and improvements in the Saffin Center for meetings. These needs come close to $950,000.

The first plateau of our fundraising, $630,000, will be shared with the Archdiocese to support the mission of the Catholic Church in central Kentucky.  However, the Catholic Services Appeal will not occur for the next two years. Funds raised above that mark will belong solely to the parish.

We thank all those who have already made and are fulfilling their pledges. We ask everyone to continue to pray and to ask in prayer, "What is God calling me to do for my church today?"
