INFORMATION
The parishes of the Archdiocese are divided into twelve regions based upon geography. These include:
Region I - Downtown/West End
Region III - South Louisville/Fairdale
Region IV - Preston Highway
Region V - Dixie Highway
Region VI - Central/Bardstown Road
Region VII - Central/East End
Region VIII - Southeast Jefferson and surrounding counties
Region IX - Northeast Jefferson and surrounding counties
Region X - Hardin/Meade and Fort Knox
Region XI - Bardstown/Nelson County
Region XII - Central Kentucky
Region XIII - Southern Kentucky Missions
Holy Family belongs to
Region VI. The links to the left will provide you with
information about our region, the archdiocesan planning process, the
recommendations that Holy Family submitted to the archdiocese for
consideration and their planning recommendations.
The recommendations issued by the archdiocesan planning commission
contained several of the recommendations that Holy Family offered.
Below is the timeline for the remainder of the planning process,
which should be completed in December, 2006.

Parish and Regional Planning – Part III

Initial regional proposals
mailed to pastors, pastoral administrators and parish council
chairs along with talking points for use in parish meetings or
correspondence |

Summary of proposals
presented in The Record, with the clear message that these are
proposals that are being sent back to the regions for further
consultation |

Regional meetings of
pastors and parish councils |

of feedback from regions |
