INFORMATION
The parishes of the Archdiocese are
now divided into elven regions based upon geography and shared
interests. These include:
Region I - Downtown/West End
Region II - South Louisville
Region III - Preston Highway
Region IV - Central Louisville
Region V -
Central/East End
Region VI - Hikes Point/Fern Creek/Jeffersontown
Region VII -
Northeast Jefferson and surrounding counties
Region VIII -
Hardin/Meade and Fort Knox
Region IX -
Bardstown/Nelson, Spencer
and Bullitt Counties
Region X - Casey, Marion, Taylor and Washington Counties
Region XI -
Southern Kentucky Missions
Holy Family belongs to
Region IV. The links to the left will provide you with
information about our region, the archdiocesan planning process, the
recommendations that Holy Family submitted to the archdiocese for
consideration and their planning recommendations.
The recommendations issued by the archdiocesan planning commission
contained several of the recommendations that Holy Family offered.
Below is the timeline for the remainder of the planning process,
which should be completed in December, 2006.

Parish and Regional Planning – Part III

Initial regional proposals
mailed to pastors, pastoral administrators and parish council
chairs along with talking points for use in parish meetings or
correspondence |

Summary of proposals
presented in The Record, with the clear message that these are
proposals that are being sent back to the regions for further
consultation |

Regional meetings of
pastors and parish councils |
